Īfter witnessing her maid Eliza have an emotional breakdown over the loss of Squala, Neon chooses to leave Yorknew from the airport on September 5 th. Back at the airport, Hisoka parts ways with Pakunoda after revealing his true fortune. The fight between Chrollo and Hisoka doesn't take place because of the former's inability to use Nen. However, they are greeted by Hisoka, who arrives to fight Chrollo after the exchange. After Kurapika details his conditions for the exchange, Pakunoda returns to the airport with her hostages.
Pakunoda arrives at the airport and enters one of the airships where the negotiation is successful. On September 4 th, the airport is used as the location for negotiations between Kurapika with Chrollo and Pakunoda with Gon and Killua (both of whom are back at the Troupe's hideout).

Melody then contacts Kurapika to update him on the situation involving Neon's escape. She is eager to go the auction by herself after her father lied about it being cancelled, and it's revealed that an unknown man is following her as he holds her picture in his hand. During their break, Neon slips away by pretending to go to the bathroom and sneaks by them in a disguise among a group of gossiping women. On the afternoon of September 3 rd, the day of the rescheduled Underground Auction, Neon is accompanied by her two maids and her bodyguards Melody and Basho as she goes on a shopping spree at the airport. Neon exits and is escorted by her bodyguards to a limo that transports her to the hotel. On August 31 st, the airship safely lands on one of the airport's runways. In a briefing with the new Nostrade Family bodyguards, the head bodyguard Dalzollene mentions the airport as the location where their airship will land the following day to transport their boss, Neon Nostrade, to the Hotel Beitacle in the city.
Lingon Airport is a major airport close to Yorknew City.
